I am a PhD candidate in the strategy department at INSEAD. My research explores strategies of firm growth, primarily in the context of scaling entrepreneurial ventures. Across my projects I use a mix of empirical methods and mathematical models to study the relationships between growth, scale, and performance. I am on the academic job market in 2025/2026.

My job market paper studies how startups build up their commercial activities in the context of software firms whose technologies power the internet. In my other papers I develop empirical estimators for growth speed, separate out time compression diseconomies during early versus late growth, show the value of sequential attention during growth, and model how expansion multiplies firm-internal complexity.
