I am a PhD candidate in the strategy department at INSEAD. My research explores strategies of firm growth, primarily in the context of scaling entrepreneurial ventures. Across my projects I use a mix of empirical methods and mathematical models to study the relationships between growth, scale, and performance. I will be on the academic job market in the fall of 2025.

My job market paper studies how startups build up their commercial activities in the context of software firms whose technologies power the internet. In my other papers I develop empirical estimators for growth speed, separate out time compression diseconomies during early versus late growth, show the value of sequential attention during growth, and model how expansion multiplies firm-internal complexity.
